West Heidelberg Community Legal Service
The West Heidelberg Community Legal Service is a free legal service.
You can ring for an appointment on 9450 2002 to make an appointment on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
We are upstairs in the Banyule Community health Service 21 Alamein Rd West Heidelberg.
We can give you advice on a range of legal issues that effect young people. The laws often change so quickly that friends may not be the best source of reliable up to date information on your rights so it can be critical to get advice early and before problems escalate.
For example you may have fines, have been chased by police over graffiti, want to know what to do if you are questioned or charged by police, how to deal with mobile phone debts or unfair contracts, have problems with violence or abuse at home.
All of these are things that you may need to get legal advice on.
And most importantly, legal advice is confidential and your legal service canot discuss you issues with anyone else unless you give your permission.
