Banyule Drug & Alcohol Service

Banyule Drug & Alcohol Service is a counselling, consultancy and continuing care program that provides a range of services for individuals, partners and family members affected by drug and alcohol use.

We have qualified and experienced counsellors located at several centres in the local government areas of Banyule, Nillumbik and Whittlesea in order to best service the needs of our clients

Our services include:

  • Assessment of drug and alcohol use and service options
  • Assessment and support for people with combined mental health and drug and alcohol issues
  • Psychosocial assessment
  • Information on methods and service options for withdrawal
  • Controlled drinking/drug use strategies
  • Relapse prevention
  • Harm minimisation information
  • Sleep and relaxation techniques
  • Ongoing support
  • Referral to other service providers
  • Consultation and information sessions available for community groups regarding drug and alcohol use
