WorkHealth is brought to you by Worksafe Victoria and is part of the Victorian Government's plan to improve the health of the Victorian community.
Banyule Community Health is an Endorsed Service Provider of WorkHealth Checks, a program offered to employers which enables employees to learn more about the state of their health.
By participating in Workhealth Checks, employees get to learn more about their risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes.
WorkHealth Checks look at factors that impact on personal health and wellbeing such as diet, exercise, smoking and alcohol consumption.
How do WorkHealth Checks Work?
- They are delivered at your workplace
- They are voluntary, free and all information is strictly confidential
- One-on-one with a registered nurse
- They take 15-20 minutes in duration
- Employees complete a short lifestyle questionnaire
- Employees receive immediate feedback on their results
- Employees receive information and advice on suggested actions based
on their health check results
