The Pharmacotherapy Prescribing Service (PPS) is a medical service for clients with an opiate dependence. More specifically, Methadone & Buprenorphine is prescribed as a substitution treatment for heroin addiction.

The program operates at the West Heidelberg site of Banyule Community Health (BCH).

The program offers holistic health care for clients by providing other services within BCH such as drug & alcohol counseling, emergency relief, community midwifery service, youth and legal services.
