Description of service:
Diabetes Complication and Assessment Service(DCAS) is part of the new North East Diabetes Service which is a collaboration between Austin Health, The North East Valley Divisions of General Practice and the Banyule, Darebin and Nillumbik Community Health Services.
DCAS provides a comprehensive, " one stop shop" assessment for the complications of diabetes. The Team consists of:
- Diabetes Care Co-ordinator
- Diabetes Nurse Educator
- Endocrinologist
- Podiatrist
- Dietitian
