Description of service:

A full range of dental services are provided to the community including:

Eligibility:
- preschool children 0-5 years of age
Cost:
- Free for Health Care / Pension Card holders
- $29 per course of care for non card holders
Waiting time:
- next available appointment (no waiting list)

Eligibility:
- primary school children
- children in years 7 & 8 with Health Care / Pension Card.
Cost:
- Free for Health Care / Pension Card holders
- $29 per course of care for non card holders with a maximum of $116 per family
Waiting Time:
- An initial consultation can be made promptly after making contact with the service. From this consultation a course of care will include a dental examination and all general treatment.
- After the first course of care is completed you will be sent a letter of offer for further treatment in two years.
- Children who are assessed as high risk will be seen every twelve months.
Emergency Appointment:
- free & next available appointment (no waiting time)

Eligibility:
- Students in secondary school (years 9, 10, 11, 12)
- Adolescents aged 14-18 who have left formal schooling
Cost:
- Free for Health Care / Pension Card holders
Waiting Time:
- Next available appointment (no waiting list)

Eligibility:
- Health Care / Pension Card holders over 18 years
Cost:
- $24 minimum to a maximum of $96 (excluding dentures)
- Emergency course of care: $24
- General course of care: $24 to $96
- Specialist services (dentures and oral surgery) will incur a separate fee
Waiting time:
- Patients must place their name on the waiting list for general care and dentures. Emergency appointments are made based on the emergency triage.

Melbourne University School of Dental Science. Students provide dental treatment under the supervision of a qualified dentist.
