Banyule Community Health General Practice awarded the inaugural ‘General Practice Award 2014’

The Board of Directors are pleased to announce that, on Thursday 30th October 2014, the Victorian Minister for Health – the Hon David Davies MP, Awarded Banyule Community Health General Practice the inaugural General Practice Award 2014 in recognition of the General Practice team’s exemplary care to the most vulnerable members of our community.  The Award recognizes leadership and innovation in building capacity across the sector, empowering individuals to manage their healthcare, and tailoring supports to better meet the needs of vulnerable communities.

The Award was judged by an expert and independent panel from the Australian Medical Association Vic., the Royal College of GP’s and the Department of Health chaired by Dr Harry Hemley.

The CEO and Board of Directors at BCH, wish to thank all members of the General Practice team for their ongoing dedication to BCH and outstanding contribution to promoting and providing healthcare services to the Banyule community and those most in need.  Thank you to the Executive Management Team, Administration Team, Quality Team, all BCH staff, students, volunteers, key partners  and collocated services for their inspiration, contribution and support in honouring BCH’s vision of providing  high quality comprehensive and integrated primary care to the Banyule community.
