Mick Geary - Executive Team

Mick is driven to provide the best possible Community Health experience for clients, volunteers, community and staff, and is energised by a passion for fairness and a commitment to ensuring Victoria’s most vulnerable receive the best possible care in the best possible place. Mick is inspired by the innovation, care and respect Banyule Community Health staff and volunteers provide on a daily basis to the many communities’ served. In his role as a CEO at Banyule Community Health, Mick values the knowledge and skills of the local community and those with a lived experience in guiding better programs and better outcomes.
Away from work, Mick is busy with family life, often seen coaching his kids sporting pursuits or talking to his chooks.


Matt Hubbard

Chief Financial Officer

Matt has been a Chartered Accountant for more than 25 years. He studied and trained with Price Waterhouse in Sydney and after almost a decade in public practice moved into the commercial world. Since then he has accumulated experience in financial management and leadership and change management across a number of sectors and industries and with a wide range of different entities including ASX-listed companies, a national charity (Kidney Health Australia), an NFP community aged care facility, local government, Hunter New England Area Health Service (NSW) and Victorian Community Health Services. Matt is keen to ensure that organisations and teams that he works with deliver on their full potential and applies his broad experience to ensure that systems and processes are functional, effective and as efficient as possible in order to enable great outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Outside of work, Matt is a motorsport enthusiast and an avid motorcyclist with a growing fleet of two-wheeled machinery.

General Manager - Client Experience

Leanne brings over 35 years of experience and expertise to her role at Banyule Community Health. Leanne has strong local community roots that has helped shape her knowledge of the importance of the client experience. Leanne supports a dedicated team that ensures clients and staff feel the support from Banyule Community Health the moment they step inside our service. When not at Banyule Community Health, Leanne enjoys camping, going to beach and walking her dog.


Meni Stefanovski

General Manager - Primary Care

Meni has over 30 years of experience in leadership, management and clinical roles, working extensively in service planning and the development of projects, services and partnerships across health and human services, community and primary care sectors. Meni has a strong understanding of the values and philosophy of Community Health and is committed to social justice, diversity and inclusion. Meni enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves football, and enjoys travelling to experience and learn about other cultures, people and history.


Rachel Rouch

General Manager - People and Culture

Rachel joined Banyule Community Health in 2006 as Human Resources Officer after working in human resources, payroll and administration related roles in Higher Education, Transport and Logistics, Retail and Hospitality. Rachel lives locally with her family and enjoys water skiing, snow skiing and holidays at the beach. At weekends, she enjoys keeping fit, following her son’s sporting endeavours, socialising and walking the dog.


Emma Fitzsimon

General Manager - Community Wellbeing

Emma has over 10 years’ experience in senior executive roles in the healthcare sector, specialising in organisational leadership, partnership development, strategic planning, advocacy, program implementation and evaluation. Before joining Banyule Community Health in 2022, Emma was Director of Strategy and Development at Victorian Primary Care Partnerships and the Executive Officer at Inner North West Primary Care Partnership. Emma is passionate about improving access to high quality, integrated, person centered care and driving meaningful change through innovation to improve health and wellbeing outcomes of individuals and their local communities while addressing disadvantage and promoting inclusion. In her spare time Emma enjoys cooking, going to the gym, walking the dog and has recently taken up golf.
