Gambler’s Help Northern provides a range of counselling and community education services to individuals, couples, families and groups in the Northern Metropolitan region of Melbourne.

We are pleased to offer the following exciting opportunity:

• Problem Gambling Counsellor / Portfolio Services Project Worker
• Full time position

We seek a highly motivated and experienced counsellor / project worker with a strong commitment to working with diverse and disadvantaged populations, to join our multidisciplinary team.

The counselling component of the role will provide face to face counselling for individuals, couples and families affected by problem gambling across the northern metropolitan region of Melbourne at various outreach locations. This involves after hours work currently until 7.00 p.m.

The project worker role will build capacity within mental health, drug & alcohol and family services to work with clients who also present with problem gambling.

Participation in group work, health promotion / community education activities is required.
