Banyule NDIS Information sessions

Dear Member,

DHHS and Banyule City Council are running THREE Community 'NDIS an Introduction' Forums on:

Thursday 28 April
10:30am to 12:00pm
Location: Shop 48 Harmony Centre, 48 The Mall, West Heidelberg – Maximum capacity of 25

Wednesday 4 May
6.00pm to 7.30pm
Location: The Centre Ivanhoe, McCubbin Room, 275 Upper Heidelberg Rd, Ivanhoe

Tuesday 10 May
1:00pm to 2:30pm
Location: Watsonia RSL, 6 Morwell Ave, Watsonia

This information session is designed to help people with disability, as well as their families and carer, get ready for the National Disability Insurance Scheme that will commence in Banyule on 1 July 2016.

The sessions will cover topics such as:

  • What is the NDIS and how does it work?
  • What kind of support can I access through the NDIS?
  • Accessing the NDIS
  • The roll out of the NDIS in Victoria and North East Melbourne

The sessions will be delivered in partnership with DHHS and Banyule City Council. The sessions will provide the perfect opportunity for you to bring your questions along and have them answered by experienced staff members.
