Physiotherapy - Koby and patient

Physiotherapists have a good understanding of how to manage a range of conditions that affect the muscles, bones and nerves.

We work with you to improve your quality of life by helping to reduce joint pain and stiffness, improve strength and mobility and provide advice and support as you recover from injury or surgery. We treat a variety of conditions including:

  • Back and neck pain
  • Arthritis
  • Muscle and bone injuries
  • Balance problems
  • Women’s health
  • Rehabilitation after surgery
  • Children’s developmental delays, including walking problems; joint/muscle injuries
  • Dizziness

Physiotherapists work closely with you, your GP and other relevant allied health professionals to make sure your daily function is improved using a holistic and person centred approach

Our Physiotherapists work at both our West Heidelberg and Greensborough sites. Home visits may be available to some clients. Eligibility will be discussed at intake.

How do I make a booking?

If you are over the age of 65, or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander over 50 years, referrals are accepted through: My Aged Care.

If you are under the age of 65, you can contact us directly.

This service is also available as part of your NDIS Plan.

This service is subsidised for people with greater health, economic and social needs. To find out how much you may have to pay, please contact Referral & Intake on 9450 2000.

Referrals to our service are prioritised according to level of need; therefore, some people may have to wait longer than others for the service. You do not need a GP referral to see a Physiotherapist, however if you have X-rays, Ultrasound or MRI results that are relevant to your condition, we recommend you bring them to your first appointment.

What to expect from your visit?

We listen to your needs and goals, assess your condition and develop a treatment plan to improve your daily function which will have a strong focus on self-management, exercise, education and injury prevention.

You can expect to see the Physiotherapist for a maximum of 6 sessions.

Physiotherapy and exercise groups

We also offer a number of exercise programs which community members may like to participate in.
